Filippo Brunelleschi Fact 1: He was born during the Renaissance period in history which began in Northern Italy during the 14th century
Filippo Brunelleschi Fact 2: While at the Arte della Seta he was instructed in goldsmithing, metalwork and bronze works.
Filippo Brunelleschi Fact 3: He would become a master goldsmith by 1398 and through the guild was awarded his first commission the Ospedale degli Innocenti.
