Johann Sebastian Bach Fact 1: Johann Sebastian Bach was born on March 21st 1685 and during the 17th century period in history when during this period there were mass changes that took place in philosophy as well as science. It was also a time when medieval alchemy would become the chemistry of the future and there were many innovations.
Johann Sebastian Bach Fact 2: In 1694, Bach was only nine years of age when his mother died, followed eight months later by his father. Then aged ten years he moved in with his eldest brother Johann Christoph Bach.

His brother taught him to play the clavichord and introduced him to many of the great composers of the time.
